Why is everyone surprised? You watch enough star trek and you realise all you have to do is go CHURR DOCH NU GO LACH JOH NUCH at random and it sounds like klingon. To write klingon you use lots of consonants and randomise the capitlaistion and punctuation. R'nQu VEqh'Jagh Kr'noQ NuQ'Doch. Also on the subject of klingon marriage ceremonies, if you ever watched that DS9 episode, it's awesome. You get to wear red and beat the bride and groom over the head with clubs after the ceremony. I also wouldn't mind larping as long as I don't actually have to pretend I'm casting fireballs at people, or dress up like an elf. I may however go as a barbarian so I can wear fur, drink lots of mead and eat lots of giant turkey legs and go wenching, sing drinking songs in saxon (which is slightly cooler sounding than german), and maybe hit people with my axe. That sounds like a fun afternoon. Basically a pub crawl with weaponry and lots of girls wearing corsets. Also I don't get the bit about anime subtitles. If it isn't subtitled you can't understand what's going on, you need subtitles, or at least very bad dubbing, in order to make any sense of anime, not that it makes much sense even with it. Fortunately I make a point of not having anything to do with anime because I've seen what it does to people.
People who play mods are more geeky than normal video gamers, even more geeky than roleplaying gamers, but definitely less geeky than those live-roleplayers. So there is our place in society. Out of all HL2 mods i would say Dystopia is the most geeky with Empires coming in on second. What is the difference between a furry and an erotic furry? I always thought furryness IS erotic interest in human like animals.
Oh I get you. I suppose I can see that point. I mean house of flying daggers probably wouldn't be as good if it was an english dub, and I suppose the same can be said of pan's labyrinth. Although it's anime, so it's like complaining that your turds aren't quite the right shade of brown. Apparently it's possible to 'just like anthropomorphic animals' which means they just watch disney's robin hood all the time. Because dressing up in actual clothes from three hundred years ago and pretending to have invisible fireball fights is less stupid than dressing up in a giant mascot costume and dry humping people in other giant mascot costumes. Because actual clothes from three hundred years ago are really hot. As are elves: As are girls with swords: And tilda swinton (she also has a sword) On the other hand, furries are really not.
