Name your first PC, or the first one you remember using, or family owned.

I had an old Epson Apex Plus 20 with no sound card, running MS-DOS. Don't remember the hardware spec however.

the first apple computers. I remember in school always fixing the piece of shit or adding ram chips... YES I SAID CHIPS! there were even ram cards. Back then.. there was no such thing as a gpu card. THE HORROR!! green on black was the color back then. Then came cga? was it? colors were a nice change but... ugly.

All I remember was it ran windows 3.1, and was awesome at playing my Thomas the tank engine game. I don't remember much of that PC though to be honest, or the one after it which we played Rayman on. I used them a lot, but the PC we got after those 2 (logically meaning it was the 3rd PC) we still have knocking around now, we only stopped using it full time a year ago or something. Pentium 3 with a 20gb HD. Really advanced at the time, which was like 1998 or something. It got upgraded to XP eventually, but as I said, it was still running reliably without ever having been repaired at all until we stopped using it a year ago, so it was a good PC. Made by Tiny.

Dads spectrum ZX81 was the first computer I used, found in the attic and dusted off.
Then my Atari 512, that was awesome.
But first real pc was probably a 133Mhz Intel from Time that ran DOS. Fucking mscdex, i still have nightmares.

So many memories, shit makes me feel old! I actually remember working on token ring networks. You kids don't know how good you've got it, etc, etc.

    C64, then 486dx 33mhz 4mb ram 1mb video.

I got my first own pc in 2000, Pentium3 650mhz (OCed to 830mhz) with riva tnt graphics and a wooden modem, the amount of RAM doubled per year.

Until I got an AMD Duron 1300, with geforce 4 ti.
Then loads of Ahtlon XP stuff...

    Now Intel C2Q 9550 @ 3.4, 8gig RAM, 6 TB hdds, geforce 560 ti.

As PC at work, they got me an INTEL 2600, 12gig RAM, 2 TB hdd, AMD/ATI radeon 6870.
And I still have no clue why I got that graphics card in there.
