Nukes are dumb. Heavys make infantry useless on maps where you have heavys researched and lots of res. I think the teams should always have a balance of vehicules and infantry classes.
Heavy tanks are pretty damn overpowered in every regard. Their only purpose is probably to end the game faster and it literally forces the game into complete vehicle mode. Which is bad, with all the effort that's being put into balancing out the infantry combat (which lasts about 10 minutes usually before nearly everyone has to get into vehicles), why aren't tanks getting the same treatment? A single heavy tank is barely effected by turrets, can drive like a jeep, is easily repaired by engineers, and plays like a boxing match. Not to mention the amount of heavy explosives you can attach to one, which can decimate nearly everything.
Reason heavy tanks are ridiculously fast than they should be is because trickster thinks it would be boring to drive a heavy tank.
Idk heavies have been nerfed quit a lot, especially with the 6 minutes needed to research it, most games end before heavies nowadays
This. There were times that mediums weren't even researched and everyone would just rush for heavies with nukes or railguns. Heavies are a lot less powerful then they used to be. Again, the amount of heavies on the battlefield was lower though due to the fact that they were more costly due to the fact that the resource gathering rates were much lower in previous versions; now every map pretty much has money levels of resources.
It would help if the resource levels were lowered again. Someone told me that the resources being high might be a bug (relating to something about the resource levels increasing with player amount, and that getting buggy).
Sometimes resource income is server set using the command sv_resmultiplier xx , I think it's 12-13 on epic server
