No shit we got stomped, I can write as to why that was, but you're an outsider to the game and you're poking fun at us, which bothers me slightly, because you couldn't do any better.
I don't claim to be an expert at bad games (then again Dead Island and Fable 3 were rather fun imo), but after a short chat I was told you guys got overcome by a strategy where they just pushed all lanes at once and you (collectively and you yourself) couldn't do much to stop them. So while this is not necessarily an outright expert-level analysis of the defeat I can summarise the reason with my <10 hours of DotA experience. And besides, "you couldn't do any better" is a really bad argument when it comes to critique, if you discuss, say, a football match, you also state your opinions ("polaks got stomped so hard yesterday lolo"), and if the players heard it (and assuming they had some respect for their job), they definitely wouldn't just say "you can't do better". Football players play football, their fans (and spectators of the match) comment on and criticise their performance and they have no reason not to that - it's not their job to run after the ball. So similarly here, I, as a, be as it may, fan of the EPIC team, criticised (or dissed, not much criticism took place there tbh) you after that stomp, and I feel fully within my rights to do it. And just to reiterate, I'm looking forward to the next tournament you participate in and hope you make it to the first place

Yeah I'm going to stop playing a game I invested 1000+ hours in just because some idiot on the empires forum tells me it's a shitgame.
I'll have you know my cosmetics are rather pricey. But leaving that aside, unless you are a professional, that could be said for any game. Ohh you just had to go there. I could get butthurt and ramble on about how much Empires means to me but let me just say that playing or not playing Empires is not a choice for me, I have around 5-10 fps on most maps except perhaps the smaller ones where I might get 15+. I can't afford new pc/laptop whatever but I can run dota in 800x640 resolution with everything low and enjoy it.
We should start a charity fund for people who can't afford good computers. It breaks my heart seeing people can't enjoy some of the simple things in life because of substantial circumstances. Fucking kony stealing peoples money.
Actually I didnt have you at any point as that wasnt supposed to be an empty trololo post, jsut an observation. Having said that, if what you say its true, I retract this statement, as a major factor of me not playing anymore is the very same. Im still baffled how my old pc (some random radeon and a p4) was able to run 2.0-2.12 at 15-30 fps, yet on both my (now dead) rig and laptop, I have the same fps even though the gfx pretty much havent changed. Last pug on cyclo I even got the point where I was getting same effect as lag due to shit framerate. Teeth: I had E8400 (2x3GHz) and GTX280 on my old rig. I was able run Crysis on ultra with satisfactory framerate. The very same rig choked harder the newer the version of empires. Steampipe put the pc into a state of suspended animation. Fun fact: It was empires that made my gtx280 melt down. Fuck you empires.
