Aye, would you like me to spray some disinfectant on it too? While I'm at it, I'll polish it for ya too :D The most I'll do for my fallen food products is rinse them with water. Our ancestors didn't even do that to food that fell in the dirt They didn't even have a five second rule. They ate dirty food, and they liked it.
good point. For me, the dropped food has to be worth it, and that which it was dropped on must resemble clean.
Ahh... Another mythbusters watcher I generally go with the hard/soft method with liberal dollops of the hairy or not theorys when it comes to eating dropped food. I'd eat anything worth eating off a clean hard floor. Unless it lands butter side down. Chocolate is a must for me. I've eaten dropped chocolate off of hairy carpets before. I of course tried to wash the hairs off first.
My house is dust-infected, I have 3 cats and alot of insects. I don't even dare picking up anything that falls down, because a spider may scoop up my hand.
Hrm.. sounds like my house last year. We had 3 or 4 lizards and a snake in the place.. pets.. but they'd still take your hand off you if you tried to take their food.
I've never been to belgum, so now I assume the whole place is a ghetto. I can't imagine the country is that big. Thanks for the info sliff
I third that, I watch Mythbusters and saw that one too. It was a sad, sad day when I watched that, but I still will eat something if it's still edible :D
