    I agree, kind of my point though. I don't worry about crime, equality, education - because none of them are going to affect me. I'm never going to live in an area where crime is a problem, I'm already as educated as I will formally be, I'm white. The only thing that would be a concern for me is the crazy price of reasonable health care.

    Actually I just remembered how toilet cubicles in the US have huge gaps between the frame, everywhere, even in newly renovated airports where they have Dyson Air-blade hand dryers. No longer want to live there. Let me shit in peace 'murica you scumbags

    This is kind of disturbing, essentially you're perfectly ok with ppl suffering around you as long as it doesn't affect you?! That's the kind of behavior that allows for bad shit to happen.

    I thought euros were comfortable with nudity...

    Also, Reddit's front page conveniently has this on there since it's actually new to most Americans that euros are nervous poopers. It was literally posted under the "mildly interesting" banner.

    Now all of this murica hate is finally making sense.

    I don't advocate for poverty or inequality! The question is where would I prefer to live - so in that context I don't feel bad to say I think I would have a better quality of life in the US regardless of some very general statistics that really don't apply directly to me, I don't feel culpable for other people's situations but that doesn't mean I wouldn't just as soon see people be more prosperous. It's not that I flat out don't care about other people or their suffering.

    And its not like the US has a monopoly on that stuff - the world we've built can be pretty shitty - people we'll never know, in far away lands suffer or die for meager wages on the reg so we can have shit like fresh fruit and veg or electronics, vehicles, etc. In that regard we are all kind of implicit, we are all allowing bad shit to happen really - maybe we are less directly accountable than the companies and managers and shareholders that chose to push labor costs as low as possible - but it's still there.

    I'm happy enough to pay my taxes and hope they find their way to people who are in need and later on - back to me when I need them too maybe.

    Living in America, pros:
    * 99 cents drinks
    * even faster Amazon deliveries
    * no need to get involved in politics because they're all extreme right parties anyway
    * low tax rates
    * diabeetus-level foodstuffs

    Living in America, cons:
    * Stubbing your toe = $15000 with a $250/month premium insurance
    * Internet is as fast as a dead cockroach
    * Looking at anyone means you're racist
    * Being white means you're racist (and rich)
    * Being black means you're racist (and lazy)
    * Soccer moms
    * Shadowrun-levels of corporatism : "They are immune to domestic law, responsible only to themselves, regulated only by the Corporate Court."
    * diabeetus-level foodstuffs

    Unless you buy your clothing from fair trade, you're probably also living on the poor.

    Probably, but I'm not supporting my country to do whatever the fuck it wants to make the people around me miserable by ignoring it, slight difference.

    I don't think I said that or anything like it really.
    Wanting to live somewhere and accepting that it has problems like everywhere else, ones that don't affect me doesn't mean I dismiss them.

    For example, I live in the UK. There is a homeless problem in London, I've passed about 10 guys on the street getting to work today. But if I move to London it doesn't mean I'm celebrating it homelessness though I can still reasonably say I want to live in London because I will be closer to the office & I'm not put off by the amount of homeless people there because I, myself will not be homeless. I don't see a moral issue in saying something doesn't affect me and thus doesn't influence my decision.

    I don't choose not to forgo a holiday somewhere because it has a bad human rights history. Yet that doesn't mean I am indifferent about human trafficking or public executions.

    Sorry if I misunderstood your "it doesn't concern me" with it actually not concerning you, because that's what you wrote, litterally.:|

    I prefer places where people have naturally smaller dicks because that means it has tighter pussy.

    In the year 1900 all of the traditional japanese buildings were destroyed and replaced with brick schools. Anyone who has watched anime know this.
