Wishlist

Pretty much. I most certainly couldn't get away with being as abusive as I am on here anywhere else.

 

Because when your a mod... you don't have to worry about getting censored and/or banned.

Also because most mods have unbridled AAA(Angst, Anger, Authoritarian) complex.

 

Actually, you'll notice that I haven't changed at all from before I had moderator, or before I had any kind of access whatsoever. Sure, it got me more infractions and the odd ban back then, but it never particularly changed the way I look at things.

The internet gives me wonderful freedom to say what I think without there being far-reaching consequences, and I very much enjoy that freedom, because it's something you just can't do outside of the internet. I feel like I can put the views across I genuinely feel, rather than watering them down or worrying about people's feelings. I can just say it as it is.

Case in point being, I'm very very opinionated when it comes to politics, but if I put those views across in my workplace, I'd seriously alienate myself, because the people I work with are very much working-class, and so their views differ considerably. You can say "you should be able to put it across without offending people" or whatever, but 9 times out of 10 it's better to just go with what people are saying. Here I don't have that problem, and that's awesome.

If someone is wrong, I don't have to either a) put up with it, or b) "Maybe it's like this", "I'm not sure that's exactly how it is". Instead I can go "No Paradox, stop being so fucking retarded". Because realistically, that's what I, and 99% of people are thinking. And there's nothing malicious in that. I like Paradox, I get along with him fine, but the beauty is, in this wonderful place we call the internet, you don't have to pull punches.

And trickster I didnt understand steam was basicly assuming I wanted to buy a game for some random people that havethe game on their wishlists...

 

better be careful or you will end up with an interesting title like the one I have. I had a better one before I got this one.
