I suggested that maybee the arty could get a turret and needs to deploy when it wants to fire. Because many, especially new players have enormous problems with using the arty tank cause the fixed turret gives them now way to overwatch the terrian while driving.
Remaking arty is not the best use of limited resources. But if you're doing it then it should have deploy/undeploy animations. I can change turret movement limits without any problem in code. You will also have to remake both models.
Arty defiantly needs to be deployed. Would be good if the call for artillery gave a more exact target for the arty tanks to fire at too.
It gives you two coordinates, yours and theirs, you have to solve a quadratic equation to get the precise parabola that will land the shot on the enemy tank, then turn that into an angle at the firing position, and watch the fireworks as you hit an infantryman DIRECTLY in the face.
Arty shouldn't be the assault tank it is now, although with alternate weapon packages it could easily have the option of being a fixed turret assault tank, or rocket boat, or deployable artillery.
