    Weird "Account in Use" Bug

Decided I was going to try and get back into empires today only to find that I can't. Every time I try to join a server it disconnects me and pops up the "This account is already in use, please login and try again screen." Not usually a big deal, but this time it's different. It's only for empires, and the usual methods of fixing it aren't working.

Things I've tried to fix the problem:
    1. Logged in again via the "Change User" option in steam.
    2. Restarted steam and logged in again.
    3. Restarted my computer and logged in again.
    4. Deleted ClientRegistry.blob and AppUpdateStats.blob and logged in again.
    5. Verified the game cache.
    6. Tried more than one server in empires.
If I try and play a different game like TF2, I can join the servers and play just fine. Only empires tells me my account is logged in elsewhere.

Congratulation you have been hacked. Change your account password now.

Did you delete AppUpdate.blob too? Not sure if it makes a difference but I generally delete both of them when I have that problem.

    No.

    No I haven't but I'll try it.

EDIT: Tried it but it didn't help.

change your password... it can't hurt besides, technically you should do it a few times a year anyways.
