Why you should block Mr Die from Steam

Lol, no... I just asked him nicely. And since at that time i'd talked to him a lot, politely, he acquiesced.

Sadly, I no longer have him on friends... I didn't block him but don't answer requests to refriend. Really, steam doesn't have much facility to protect yourself, I think - although now they have more privacy controls.

 

Well if you were a leading figure of the Rainbow Paradise sub-clique of Deeism and led an army of sexually-confused "ponies" like myself, MrStan would leave you alone. I have no "visible" influence in the Empires community (unlike Tricky), so that's also why I am not a target of harassment (also, not being scared of him is a plus).

 

Dude, I get the "Mr Die would like to..." messages from people on my friends list.

Does that mean I'm an influential member of the community like Trickster?

But yeah Spartacus, if you politely ask him to block you he will completely leave you alone. Probably won't work for people like Empty or Trickster, but it's worth a shot on their part.

 

I readded him in september and he stopped writing shit about me, but then I told him that I am neutral and stuff and had to like block him so he went back to writing shit about me in his bi-weekly blogs. I even tried to get him to play with a couple other people in a chat but nope.avi.

 

I've made my steam page private so he can't access my friends list.

Every now and then I still get people asking me why he wants me to contact him.

He doesn't get bored, he's some fuckwit with aspergers who has a retarded fetish for politics.

Honestly, I hope he gets put away in a fucking psych ward because he's mentally ill and his harassment has been driving me nuts for several fucking years now. It's beyond a fucking joke, it's not funny, it's not adorable, he's not a troll, he's a hell-bent psychopath who compulsively lies and has no lack of patience. He's a dangerous person, purely from his mental state. I'm fucking glad I have a large body of water between me and him.

 

He occasionally messages unrelated friends of mine and tells them to get to me.

It was really funny when he messaged one of my RL friends. We had a fun troll day.

 

Really? I found it awkward to be honest. It's not the easiest of things to explain.

If you challenge him you become an enemy. He will mostly go after people that fuel the current non democratic "goverment". He reads forums alot. It's great to see him "study" people and then judge them off forum posts when these people know of this and fool him. You can also join his side or pretend to join it. Though be aware that he will check your friendslist. Put it on private and remove maybe a few "risky" contacts. Never care about his opinion and give him the oposite of what he wants constantly. Make sure to build up the drama to then break it down and deny him the candy that he craves so much. Simply pretend to be dumb and manipulated by his "logic". From there it's pretty easy.
