Since 2.23 i have found it unable to attach more than 2 cannons to a heavy and i find this rather annoying. It has completely taken away the experimentabilty of all vehical customisation. Haveing that extra cannon attached was what made empires so fun. You would attach that extra cannon to have greater attack but would have to sacrifice armour to compensate. R.I.P SIX SHOOTER
I made a cannon shooting 3 shells like a salvo launcher. If you put 2 of those on a heavy you got a sixshooter. Maybe the cannon will make it into a future release. The difference between that and 6 standard failcannons is that failcannons are not meant to be used it such high quantities. You might have noticed, that shooting 6 failcannons generates far too much heat to be efficient.
Having 6 cannons on a tank could, like drag explained, be replaced with new weaponry. We added the limitation, knowing that more weapons will be added to bring back some of the customization lost from it. It'll result in better balance.
Yeah, but my shotgun heavies were just so much fun Theres nothing like plowing into the side of another tank and unleashing a shitstorm of missiles until you overheat.
I miss the haveing 2 chain guns on my apcs. Although,retrospectively,building a 1/1/1/1 apc may not have been the best idea.
I managed to get a triple chainer on an apc once. had next to no armour but it killed in miliseconds XD
I preffered one chain and two standards, got both accuracy and damage and the armour wasn't too bad. I think i had front/back with 2 plates and the rest 1.
BRING BACK TRI-MG APC no seriously, please don't limit stdmg slots. it's completely useless now as it is. even if you did bring it back it wouldnt be effective ugh its hopeless because mg just sucks now ugh hopeless brb going to go angst
