On an online game I play, called Pardus, a longtime dumb and paranoid player, "Hired Gun", thought he was the shit and started flame wars on the forums for years. After years of getting royally trolled yet insisting he was right, and restarting under a new name (yet saying he was Hired Gun at the same time) he left again for "eye surgery" late last year, I believe. Yesterday morning, this was posted on the main forum. So now, the strangest/most epic rage posting you've witnessed over the years. No cheating - you had to witness it firsthand.
I don't have logs but I remember a kid in rift general chat always going on every single day about how great he is at the game because his alienware computer allows him to game better.
My god I take my post back, this is in fact the most infuriating thing of chivalry. They even kick you for high ping which is like some outdated shit.
People played rift? I only heard things about that game for around 3 months. Empires never kicks for high ping!
They do have a Teamdamage ratio on display. So if at the start of a round you go knight, chop a peasant up and doing so are damaging a bro next to you, Instant votekick!
I've never seen him typing in ALLCAPS or screaming into his headset. He just writes. A lot. The best rage I've ever seen in Empires was really any time HSM was involved. Whenever a player made the slightest mistake (real or imagined) master commander HSM would be shouting over and over about how completely useless that player was. His outbursts are the stuff of legend and it is a time-honored tradition to ridicule them. I'm certain there's a few YT videos with his rantings.
There is a clip Zeke recorded years, YEARS ago of him and/or others pissing mister D off and throwing him into a fit of rage. He definitely has HSM potential.
Well, Drag0wn specifically asked for rage in text, HSM wasn't one to type a lot, which like you already pointed out, is more of a mrdee thing. After years still writing enough to fill entire libaries with about something that should have been at best mildly irritating to him from the very beginning. That, in my book, is the definition of rage, intended or not.
