Alternative to normal mortar. Does less damage, but creates a small area of burning napalm, that damages any infantry moving through it. Vehicles that travel through it get heat effects. Stays for a while, then the napalm burns out.
Are the flames timed? Affects a certain area for a given amount of time like a smoke grenade? Or is it instantaneous?
Yes the flames go away after a while. It would be unfair to have grenadiers set the whole map on fire.
You read it wrong. I just wanted to know if the flame blast was an instant hit like a mortar or not. But I understand your point now.
