Hows like most modern rts games waypoints are implemented to not only tell a player where to go but with which route to travel therei fits important and certain defences need to be avoided, I must have had so many moments where my team of tanks plow stupidly into the enemy defences to get to the enemy base when they could just turn a few corners and get there easily. Maybe if we could show them the easy routes this could be avoided
Uhhh The wayfinding in this game is perfect, unless you count the drunks playing... The AI does not control where the units go... It would be nice to set a list of waypoints or objectives, perhaps with a text description of what you want them to do...
Maybe when you place mutliple waypoints, a green line is shown between them, and the points are numbers, instead of hexagons?
Or hexagons with numbers in them! Yeah, I'd love to see way points in game, I never command or anything, but it would be usefull to have my team's commanding tell me where to go and how to get there, since, after all, they have a better viewing ablity than I do and can tell me to go this way to avoid a turret rather than walk right into it.
*shakes head* k I think you completely missed the point I mean't so a com can lay multiple waypoints for a player so he doesn't just see 1 flashing point in the enemy base, instead the com would be able to show many different point to reach on the way to main waypoint. I'll post a pic if you still don't understand btw everyone else got it
