We all know if walls go "BOOM!" that they fall appart.

The physics of those gibs make the server lag for some reason.

It doesn't seem to occure on every map, or every time a wall breaks.

But sometimes it does, if you look at it or it is occuring somewhere on the map it makes people lag.

No it doesn't. The gibs are purely clientside. Infact, the server doesn't even precache the gib models.

Well, then I don't know what is causing it, but every time a wall goes "BOOM 10 FPS"

that sounds like client lag, rather than server lag

You realise that is coz it was a huge amount of recycled walls and effects (explosions) lag a lot more in skybox.

Ok, this is a dumb thread.

Of course doing anything in the 3d skybox is going to lag. The 3d skybox is optimized to show stuff that isn't moving, and when things move, that optimization is useless.

And another thing. Don't fucking report 'bugs' that happen when sv_cheats are on, or happen when sv_cheats has been turned on. We don't care...sv_cheats is a use-at-your-own-risk.
