Facebook is so aweful. I remember going out before Facebook was around. It was great - you could get as shitfaced as you liked and do anything and so long as you could deny all knowledge in the morning it didn't happen.

Since Facebook whenever I go out I mostly have less fun because all my friends spend all evening uploading pictures of themselves to fucking Facebook. Like its not enough to do something just because its funny - now everyone has to document it for their dumb vlog, or blog, or facebook or mybook or facespace or whatever.

I did have a facebook account because I figured, hmm.. that'll be a good way to stay in touch with my friends abroad - but then I realised I have a phone, gg.

But it's a nice site keep track of friends and plan events.

Where's the "Empires Facebook Group" option, where every 2 weeks someone post that Empires is dead.

Facebook is scary. I thought i could avoid it, that it was just a silly trend that would end soon. But no, it is still expanding incredibly fast and i feel heavy peer pressure to finally join it. A friend of mine is getting lots of dates with cute girls via facebook, I want that too! :p

 

You know if you're getting lots of first dates via facebook it means they all fail miserably.


Also, Jesus fucking Christ learn your comparative English, Darkhorizon. The word is "worse". "the worst" would be marginally acceptable.

I have a friend who plays farmvill... like he MUST harvest shit the moment it is done. he stops working just to harvest crap then goes back to work.

 

I think anyone who gets offended or angry over these forums has serious issues, facebook is place where your girlfriends find drama which will cause problems

I have 106 'friends' on facebook.
I have 100+ friends who play empires on steam.

I'd rather chill with pretty much anyone from empires IRL than about 95 of my facebook 'friends'.

 

I'd rather chill with the people I have on facebook (all of which I have met IRL) than emp folks.
Sure, some emp folks are cool, but in the end it would be a mix of:
Angry brits
doll loving people
high people
drunk people
People who scream at everything
Germans who hate everything
People who think they are above the rest
Pedophiles
etc

Guess it could be a weird fun party afterall..

 

That's basically my class. Just make them more ignorant and "UR NOT MY FRIEND IF U DUN HAVE MONIES!".
