    A friend of mine introduced me to Firefly just a few months ago and lent me the series on DVD. Fell in love with it within a few episodes but sadly this just made me feel depressed. The farthur I got into the series the more of it I wanted and knew there just wasnt anymore nor would there ever be.

    I very much like the theme song and btw I got the series for christmas. I figure at least this way I can show some support by letting the powers that be know the show was loved. Video fit.

    It's a crying shame what fox did to that series. It was almost as if they were trying to make the show fail when it first aired =/

    At least they rounded it all off with the film I guess :)

    One of the best shows there was.:cry: I cant see why they canceled it in the first place. I liked the feel after two episodes.

    Fox pretty much killed the series. They didn't air the first episode (started with the second), aired episodes out of order. Episodes were shown weeks apart from each other and they didn't even bother showing the last couple episodes.

    Not many people watched it when it first showed and I'm guessing that was why :(

    And now blockbuster rents it out like crazy...takes a while to get your hands on it. (and I mean blockbuster online...even in store copies are always out, though.)

    TV sci-fi. I. just. don't. get it. I mean I like sci-fi, I do. But Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Trek....you name it, it just all seems really crap to me. ok for casual entertainment, but not worth turning your TV on for. I can probably count the number of sci-fi films that are true great on one hand too. Seems no-one is trying to make movies as mature and complex as some of the books I've read. Shame.

    Children of men. that should take up at least 3 fingers.

    i totally agree, most is really cringingly bad to watch. but when a good sci fi does come along, it's always the best stuff to watch imo.
