Things look so much better with ambiant occlusion: Treads got wrong material, but otherwise it's working fine. I don't really know how to color this thing yet, the previous one was brown which always looked kinda weird next to the other vehicles.
question... do the BE heavies REALLY need to have antennas big enough to pick up radio signals from Saturn? Its not like its difficult to spot them from any visible distance.
It's still the same model, but I pretty much had to re-build the entire thing from the ground up in order to get more texture resolution since there was no high-poly I could use. It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but in-game you can really see the difference. Other than that I changed some small things, like closing the front hatch.
ive just noticed you should do something about that thing where the barrels go into the turret. at least on your pics it looks very attached or maybe even freefloating rather then inbuilt.
... I dont think those gun textures are better... sorry, but, they're cartoony and oversimple. and also I believe firewarrior fixed the *expletive deleted* BE ironsights so they aren't like looking through a gap in a bar door... didn't he?
Yeah the gun texture is still very much WIP, it just grey with a metal texture overlay right now. @flashe - it's the exact same as the old tank, the barrels stick inside the turret but you can't see it from that angle
Uhm how about NO? The Medium has two, the Heavy only has one. And it's not like you can shoot them or they are like glowing sticks in the landscape. I have never had an occasion, where I spotted someone just because of the antennas on his tank.
No... no it wasn't either you misunderstood or I didn't convey the idea good enough... this is what I said... I meant... why are they there? You can easily see the tank as it is. There wasn't a need to increases its visible profile by attaching those poles to it. I see your picture rappe but, take a look at this... See the two THIN and unobtrusive antennas here? Not like our pole antennas. PS someone model this beauty and make it the BE med. MG turret included.

Except Challenger 2 is bestest. Like really, this isn't even be being a Britfag and saying WE HAVE BEST. It just is the best on every level. But I don't see the problem with it looking like the leopard 2, because that's also a fantastic tank.
