the vehicles already have it :p never noticed that after an extended time falling (2 or 3 seconds) the vehicle can pull itself back up into the upright postion

my bet is they added "keepuprights" to all vehicles somewhere between 2.22 and 2.24

IIRC the keep upright things has been in since 1.071b, maybe earlier.

All vehicles in source have keepupright properties as far as I know, they don't work without them.

There is a difference in how it works though. In Empires, unless a vehicle lands upside-down and loses all rolling momentum to right itself, it's stuck upside down. I have seen CV's rotate along the center more than 90 degrees and still go back to an upright position. In HL2, if your car flips, you have to manually right it, unless it happens to have enough momentum to flip back itself. It's entirely physics based.

No, no, no, you are getting it all wrong.
I didnt mean the vehicle itself, but the vehicle turret.

    Animation to prove my point:

    If we had stabilization:

    So, this?

Since this is a poorly explained duplicate, you can continue the discussion there.
