To be honest. I liked more at the earlier NF walls because they had more details in them than these ones. These are quite plain looking.
So you lose one tank if you drive over the one place where all 9 mines are? Then the other tanks drive straight through and kill the grenadier and all his friends.
whoa chris, steady on, that's optomistic. for you to nine mine you actually have to sit in the middle of the battlefield laying 8 mines. any of you, go try this. surprisingly, you can't do this where the battle is taking place, but only behind the front lines, in your own territory. so the only way to kill big tanks is to let them take over your territory and hope you can kill one of them, before you need to set up the trap again further back in your territory? I'm glad the change has come.
What I had in mind was a winning team having trouble breaking thru the last defenses to finish off the losers.. the losers will have many 9 mine traps one after another with turrets... and also upgraded rpgs.. assuming its the end of the match they would also have 4 skills to see the weakest point of the tank I think we will see many losing teams win in tickets like you said 1 tank gets blown up from the 9 mines.. and then the 2nd one charges foward to run into alot of turret fire and rockets.. and possibly another 9 mine trap he didnt see
Then use artillery to clear the enemy turrets and use riflemen with an APC in support to clear the grenadiers. Or go the other way, all maps have multiple ways to get somewhere.
Or just spam artillery to da maximum and see how 10 artilleries with HE cannons vaporized half of the map to the destruction.
Krenzo said that if someone were to make the sounds, he would code the horns in... Nobody ever bothered to get the sounds
I don't need the sounds, if ever they were implemented, I'd simply replace them all with dixie horns. Except for the jeep, I'd give that a train horn.
Just wondering is there any other details we can get for the infantry research? I hope its not just the grenadiers RPGs getting an upgrade.
Currently it is just RPG's, but the system is now in place to allow all kinds of researchable ammo types. Now the coding is done, I assume that it is now a trivial task to add future upgrades to the script files.
do the 2 grenadier RPG upgrades stack? One is +15 damage, the other is +25 damage, so do both together = a total of +40 damage? or just the higher of the 2, +25?
