1. Install steam client on same machine/dedi box as server. 2. Install empires through steam client. 3. I installed source sdk base 2007 with steamcmd (AppID for SDK Base 2007 is 310. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Steamcmd 4. I installed source 2007 dedicated server in library-tools 5. Copy your steamapps/common/empires/empires folder into top directory of source 2007 dedicated server folder which should be in steamapps/common 6. I then copied over VIPERS folders and merged it with the folders in source 1007 dedicated server/empires for, maps, materials, resources, particles, scripts, models, cfg, addons and motd.txt Epic can do the same with their folders. forgot to add 2 steps. You need to keep a steam client running on same machine as the server. I am using a .bat file to start the server. Any issues on VIPER please let me know.

This fix doesn't seem to be necessary now. EPIC Server is working again (also restarted the server to fix some weird lag).
