the most outrageous part of this whole story is that the teen girls who trolled her got arrested. they didn't do anything wrong as far as im concerned.

 

Getting arrested for an insensitive comment on fb. Merrica.

Changing schools but not cutting connections.

Dispute over dating an ex.

Being a 12 year old.

Also sending death threats and such doesnt really count as trolling. Amd stop abusing "literally".

 

but they're not death threats! it's merely a 'go kill yourself' or a 'plz drink bleach'. the most threat-like part instance was the 'imma fight u' but even that is weightless.

Girl in article was 12. Personally I don't think kids should be on facebook, they will inevitably say stupid, stupid shit and will not have the benefit of anonymity that they would, say, on these forums... *whistles nonchalantly*

I read that as if the guy had fucked your mom and couldn't live with the shame of doing so, from which we can infer two main hypotheses for his source of shame:

1. He is ashamed of his behaviour, and will thus commit suicide to redeem himself.

If she were trolled to death litterally, trolls would be real, they are not, only figurative trolls are real, thus you can't really say you troll someone litterally ... duh, the use of the word litterally is really abusive and could lead to litteral suicide of the readers eyeballs.

I really hate how much people have forgotten about such a thing as hyperbole. When people say literally even if it isn't literal, they are using hyperbole, exageration. Like holy fuck this smart ass generation can get so annoying sometimes.
