I found a major glitch wich gives the commander a significant advantage. If you take scout, then take vehicle speed skill, then be voted as the commander of your team you will have a turbo command vehicle, I have tested it and I bet it's even faster then a 3phase jeep, it even gives you speed when sticky stunned(this might also explain why vehicles seem to be able to move even when they are stun stickied).
this bug shoudn have been fixed before anyone would post it on the forums, since devs know about it for a while
The next patch also has a spedometer ^_^. used to be on mantis. Razor bud fixed it a month ago or something. but yeah, just fyi, the actual values that this changed would be something like this: CV normally travels at 35 mph(for sake of argument, lets call it mph). with scout speed, this jumps up to 60 mph. When you take scout speed off, it drops back down to 50 mph. Again, it's been fixed, but just in case you were curious about what the actual values are. Something happened along the lines of the vehicle getting like 15 mph extra, and then another 10+ for being scout, but the +15 stayed. Now it just adds and removes 15 mph.
This is how it works. Way back, before I even played this game, from what I understand, vehicles used Chassis scripts, rather than a seperate engine script. When you use scout speed, you swap it to this old, outdated chassis script. So that 20% increase you get, is actually a 20% increase on the chassis script speed, which is 50. Thus you get 60. When you leave? Well it goes back to the normal speed...normal chassis script speed, which is 50. The engine script uses just 35. I have contemplated changing the chassis script value on g4tc to 35, that way it would work properly either way.
