So, I had this idea earlier: [TRN] tags. Basically, it's completely voluntary (and there are no requirements other than putting them on), and in a nutshell signals to newbs that you're a decent person to ask for advice. You just put the tag on (i.e. Scouto2 [TRN] or -MEG- Scouto2 [TRN]) and you're golden. Maybe it's morning grogginess, but it sounds like a good idea to me, at least.
i think it sounds better in theory then in practice, but since it does no harm and doesnt cost a cent, it sure is worth giving it a shot ...
Hi, I'm Hobbes and welcome to my lesson. Press e next to this giant tank, then read this article and follow it to the dot. http://wiki.empiresmod.com/index.php?title=Noob's_Guide_to_Empires EDIT: What does TRN stand for?
or u can put this in your name [TLR] which is trolling like a recruit and it lets people know your going to troll them and be mean when they suck
we should le put emp_recruit back in to the game. I had to wear that name, for the first ten seconds that I started the game and went to the game menu before a server.
Didnt I fucking suggest this earlyer and got a fucking bullet to my head for suggesting it cause trolls be mad trolls...+
First newb question: What is the [TRN] tag? It sounds nice but none of the newbs will know they should go to those with the [TRN] tags cuz... they are newbs :p Just be helpful when you are playing and encourage EVERYONE to help anyone asking questions in-game.
true that, [TRN] isnt very descriptive. but i assume [i help new players] would be to big for a tag ...
[Trainer] or [Help], and maybe have like those messages that come up every now and then on the server that might say "Players with [TRN] in the tag can help you if you are new to the game".
