I had got it to the point where everything was working except the mission / objectives being tracked in multiplayer then ARMA went and released this huge 64bit patch which buggered everything. but I did just do a fresh install so I'll get back to it when I have a weekend. You still think talking about NUBS like that is not an insult to nubs so I will give you an example. You have shampoo A and shampoo B. Shampoo B says in its advert on TV that shampoo A smells like motor oil. Shampoo A proceeds with suing Shampoo B for defamation. Of course there are ways of belittling rivals by not referring to a particular one or by giving tips to who they are referring to without being direct of course. Anyway, servers are not business but I hope you get the allegory. I shouldn't have to tell you it's not decent to talk like that about other server and shit, for the community's sake. NUBS didn't want to discuss bans on the forums, not in general. It was in the motd and on the steam group. but i cant recall a single person posting there or messaging creeper instead all the shit went on the forums. so basically nubs and memehouse do the same thing. Sadly the only way I can see this is as propaganda. It's sad to use such a term, but it's propaganda... in Empires... it's ridiculous. That's why it's insulting. I don't know if this is intentional on your part or not. Both are sad scenarios. Can this thread just be locked better yet deleted i think its just creating unnecessary drama and creating problems between people. Perhaps one of the forum staff should take action and just delete the thread and end it and forget about it. As long as this thread is active its going to cause more issues and more than likely get turned into a bigger shitstorm.
I don't think the thread is creating problems. Problems are already out there and they won't be deleted by deleting this thread. Problems need to be solved/eliminated not locked away. Finally, I don't think this thread is counterproductive, at least on my part. I give information and type how things look from one side.
Lol all your server boys and girls are just jelly cause the memehouse has more memes and dreams than you guys. Get over yourselfs, memehouse best house 2017. The only problem I ever had with NUBS is that admins dont take enough action. They let people vote in escort on 20 v 20, they let people vote in shit maps. They dont extend map time, dont lock spec. We did that 2 weekends and had 20 v 20 + for over 5 hours. But if a vet ended the game a bit earlier cause it was a lost cause, ow boy, every admin on the server couldnt wait to get a piece of it. If it was on NUBS or vipers spec wouldve been the 3rd team. That was my only problem with NUBS
wohoo 64 bit arma I can finally play it with much better performance on AMD Literally the only game where I struggled for performance bad, on servers with high pop I remember them saying it wouldnt be performance-cost efficient to go 64bit arma, and now here it is.
paradox put it nicely. nubs and memehouse have two different approaches. nubs let people handle things (things like !surrender to end the game etc). memehouse has admins handle things. i agree with both. but in all cases there's someone who won't like it. for example on nubs, someone will spam !surrender because game's pointless and someone else on memehouse will be upset because the game was ended by an admin too soon and he was having fun etc. i don't think any way is perfect. trump said earlier the system on nubs was broken. I believe both systems will be broken because we're hoomans. a system improves only when hoomans improve i think.. i dont criticize how things are on memehouse. tbh i havent played for months. but for real i have no problem with anything except wat trump said and how he said it.
