Nice. One suggestion: the airfield should drop an outpost, otherwise the newly-captured square will be useless!
You can build an outpost from a symbol, if it's within the airfield's range. Edit: RULES UPDATED (slightly) Edit 2: here's a game I played with my friend on an online drawing board... I'm about to lose here (being X), but in the end, I caught my friend off guard in south, built an airfield near enough his base, and killed him.
I'm a psp programmer, and I've been looking for some funky little games to make in my new game engine. I would be quite happy to have a crack at making this for the psp (against cpu ofcourse) with your permission. I'll post back if/when it gets anywhere. This does look like it could be a very addictive little game.
I suppose multiplayer on one psp would be simple enough, as the game is turnbased. As for a pc version, if I get a psp version working I would be happy to give out the code to be ported to the pc.
LOL. If someone wants to play me via email I'm up for it. travis.toler@siemens.com Yey for office boredom as an intern. Kudo's on the game.
I'm am attempting to build a fully multiplayer PC version. However, please, please, please don't hold your breaths as i'm not that good and iot may prove too much for me. I need to write something to learn the Twisted Networking library first (I will be using Python and Pygame for the rest) and am going to write a simple im program before this. If anyone wants to lend a hand the feel free!
If you do all the networking stuff, I'll try to get the actual coding working in pygame :p I've always wanted to learn python anyway, so this gives me an excuse to :D
