One thing I noticed is that I got used to playing veterans... it was hard as hell... Now playing against nubbies; each veteran can hold an entire section on their own; no that is not elitist it is simply true...
Yeah, Shinzon basically almost won for one team and then switched and then won for the other team by himself two maps in a row. :D :D
:eek: Am I the only one who gets just as pwned by these guys as vets? In fact I get pwned more because they show up in random places and do random things. I guess it's just because I can't make us win while we're losing...i've been sniped soo much recently it's ridiculous.
ok, gloating is for arseholes, but what you're saying is true. what I don't like is that you're having fun shooting everyone with your assault rifle and then people start complaining that the mod is unbalanced and sucks. so you go engineer and they get assault rifles and then suddenly assault rifles suck.
Release day I beat won WAY too easily three rounds in a row as com. Than lost next round due to the emp_recruit effect (scouts and riflemen standing around in base for the first 5 minutes of the game asking where to get ammoz). The next five rounds decided to go shoot people and got 1'st place in 4/5 maps. That was gloating . Anyways, release day was FUN AS HELL!!! ^.^

Yeah, the testers are on average much better than the new players, but the vets have to learn an entirely new style of play since there's so many people swarming the maps now. So it's actually about even.
Well that just means there are more targets. Seriously, I've started to just go engi and revive my team mates on flag maps, because otherwise it's just to damn sick at times. I've even started to feel guilty about it. But people are learning, very quickly. Now there even getting decent amour and engines, which were almost impossible for me to find on Friday.
i had a guy named Mr. Inappropriate as commander, this was his strategy on SoF: obtain over 10k in res and spend it all on spamming the base with walls and L3 turrets. oh, and the vf was half a km away from the nearest barracks. and he didnt even start vehicle research until BE started rolling out nuke tanks
anybody here got a triple kill with the mortar without killing an APC? i've had quite a few double kills recently... i'm longing for the triple though
I think I had one on escort while laying a barrage on that building exit at the eastern flag point. Not sure, though, since the kill messages went past veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery fast.
I once said that I was getting a bit unlucky sneaking into enemy bases and sabotaging the buildings and getting spotted at the exact second I was most vulnerable. Apparently it takes skill that I apparently don't have. Hate it when people think they're better than you.... I proceeded to take on 3 heavies in an APC with a HEMG (yes I'll tell this story again).
