The Official 1.08 "Guess that feature" competition!

Well, here it is, the thing you've all been waiting for! Oh wait, that was 1.08. Never mind.

However, as I'm here, here's a competition to tide you all over until 1.08 does actually get here, and it'll probably be more fun than just reading a changelog.

This is how it will work. I will post a picture of a new feature that has been added into 1.08, it will be edited in some way to make it harder for you to work out what it is. You then have to guess what the new feature is! If someone gets it right, I will then post the full picture. I might keep a record of who gets the most right, and they may get some sort of award or something, depends what I can whip up. No promises though.

Oh another thing, no entries/clues from testers/moderators/devs/'anyone else who actually would know what it is', otherwise you'll spoil it

So here we go with the first round of the competition!

It's an easy one, and not particularly exciting, but it'll get you into the swing of it

Nice idea though. I hope you're allowed to continue with this.

 

this thread aint for me. it's a cool idea but i don't want the secrets spoiled for me. it's gunna be fun to play it the first time i see it.

 

Looks like in the options you can now set specific options for messages. Is that it?

I think optimized smoke grenades, smoke shells for arty, updated canyon, or armory is now placed in maps by default.
