i just want a copy of all the stuff i added to the map tactics section. COME ON i worked SO HARD thinking up that stuff!!!

 

The backup files he sent me were corrupted. I asked him to send them again, but he hasn't replied.

Well there is a basic wiki installation setup at wiki.empiresmod.com so if the backup never arrives people can start copying the cached version over.

 

Great. So much for that, it was a real pain to write up all that info in the first place.

Kelvin didn't own the machine it was hosted on. It was apart of some computer club he was in, and someone didn't want it on there anymore.

I wanted to transfer the wiki to my own host a long time ago, but Kelvin refused.

Well I did a little work.. but we seem to have lost lots of stuff
BTW settings are screwed too.. won't let you upload files and bullets don't work iether.

 

I've set uploads to work, but I don't know how to get bullet lists to work.

 

I made a bullet list using * symbols in http://wiki.empiresmod.com/index.php?title=Mapping

 

thats weird... look at all the pages I did with *'s in them tho... the didn't get bullets.


I see.. It appears that bullets don't appear unless there is no space in front of them

 

Kelvin finally replied to me, and it doesn't sound good. Cross your fingers.

 

im crossing my fingers but, im also wondering how we got colored boxes to apear last time. Wiki format doesn't appear to support that, ALSO how the F do I get thoes damn thumb boxes to arrange themselves like they did last time instead of lining up?

Sweet... only its not completely up. lol the logo is still missing upper left. Only you or he can fix that.
