damn bros, those are huges fixes... there are a few in there that are awesome...really awesome... any chance to add a "spot unit" bind in controls?
Planned for future when we do the scout update and we revamp the binocs in the process. But we're honestly looking into the distance here, it all depends if we can keep going after this release and we have the coders for it.
You should only be spotted if you attack a building using a projectile weapon (grenades, cannons, missiles, mortar, etc.) I don't think that using sabotage or the engineer tool will trigger the autospot, although this needs to be tested.
it would be a good idea to show the scunt for the time it takes him to sabotage. it generally would be good idea to completely break stealth on any action other then moving and switching weapons. this would also fix the problems with those buildings-spots you cant fire directly at ...
I didn't even know that change was still in, I think it was one of the last ones MOOtant made when I was trying to get concessions on autospot but he wouldn't entirely remove it. We'll see how it works out in testing, but if it's redundant on top of the new single targets then we can always remove it.
