If you are having problems connecting this is what steam have to say bout the matter, even there forums are experiencing dificulties................ "There is currently a wide spread power outage in Bellevue/Seattle impacting Steam Server availability. Unfortunately ETA for when the power will be restored is unknown as the power company will only work on restoring it once the storm has eased and the high winds have died down. Any issues you are experiencing with connecting to Steam are only temporary, as this isn't an end-user issue. Please check this Forum or Steam News for further updates."

Figures. It was only a matter of time for something like this to happen. It's that their EULA states they won't promise a erroneous service, otherwise there'd be a lot of angry people calling Valve about now.
If you get bored an wanna see some Angry people "lol" check this out . . . http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=516328 . Jeez sounds bad check this out http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16215340/
Well its not up for every one yet. I know Im not then again Im in the northwest of America. Maybe you guys are handled by a diffenrt server...
i was watching the weather tonight and it said that the storm would be a catagory 2 hurricane if it happened at sea.
Funny, cuz when steam said it was having connection problems, the first thing I did was check the forums to see if all the CS noobs were complaining "OH NOEZ I CAN'T PLAY I'LL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON STEAM AGAIN!" I've had very few problems with steam, virtually all of them being 100% valve's fault.
