Hmmm, I've heard of another game with a procedurally generated galaxy thats being developed into an MMO, supposedly. Its called Infinity. It always sounded so ambitious that I wondered if it was a scam to get folks to donate money.

But I guess this isnt MMO and seems a bit more reasonable. Looks cool, we'll see if it goes anywhere.

Game looks awesome to, sorta like Sins of a solar empire without all the system requirements so that it can run on my windows 2000...

Nope.

It's more like Sins of a Solar Empires, on a scale 1000x, but it has immense modability.

I want to get in the beta and see what is all possible with the modding support.

 

I want it to be a merge of the galactic civilizations 2 and sins of a solar empire gameplay with the large and random research tree of sword of the stars, then I will pay for this game 5 times over.

 

From what I gathered, this is possible(the research).

And I think the gameplay is what you're after as well, but I haven't played it yet, so I can only go off of the information they give.

But hey, you can blow up planets in it, so that's always a fucking plus :D

 

Actually this looks more like a 3D version of sword of the stars with sins of a solar empire elements in it and galactic civilization's ship editor, all in real time.

My favorite potential feature are dyson spheres. :D

I can tell you, this game has the potential to be the best 4X space game ever

I don't really see anything to recommend the game though, the videos are confusing and badly put together, the graphics look horrible, all I really see is a big feature list but no evidence of being able to pull it off.

Sure the feature list is speculative, but if it holds up then I'm set to buy it. I've learned long ago that you probably shouldn't pre-order so you don't end up disappointed.

From what I can tell, The game is 4X, lots of nifty shit, indie developed, and only $25. I'm excited and I'm going to be keeping my eye on it.
