Star Citizen: Organization!

It's got 2 TR1 main thrusters and 12 TR1 mav thrusters.

I think that means that it just has a ton of mav thrusters. That's typical for that variety of alien ships, I think.

So I would guess that it's slow, but very maneuverable.

I think it would be really kickass pirate ship since it has a tractor beam and as much cargo space as a cutlass. Presumably, it'd be much cheaper than a cutlass, but who knows what PU costs will be? I think it looks awesome and I'd love to get one in the PU.

Nah, seems about standard. The avenger has curves, this doesn't, so probably not as many.

 

He's talking about the massive capital ships in the album. I just embeded the lightning because its design hasn't been made public yet.

Most of the capital ships in the leaks cannot be purchased before the game is released and they generally will need to be stolen or scrapped together from retired parts found in the pu.

Exceptions include the small idris frigate, which was like a thousand bucks and the slightly larger javelin destroyer, which was like two grand and sold in a limited amount.

The idris will probably go on sale again in the coming months. It's the capital ship that most people would want. You can carry like three dogfighters and it's well armed against non-capital ships.

Also, did anyone notice the screenshot of the Idris docked with a retribution? I mean, that's kind of ridiculous.

 

So it feels like it definitely wasn't images in the leak - it was entire WIP models.

The bridge alone takes up more space than all of the ships flyable in AC right now. I just can't even.

Yeah, they had the entire client build on a CDN with no password.

A well known community manager showed a partial URL of it while doing a sneak peek of the FPS progress.

And with a little guesswork, the entire URL was determined and like 40GB of shit was leaked (the normal release client is only like ~25GB).

This isn't the bit with the URL, but this is basically what the community manager was showing off. It was meant to be a very minor thing.

 

These leaks look a lot better with a little texture work and good lightning.
