Not entirely my fault, but... sorry.
I don't know if we can forgive you Shandy. I just don't know.
... did I miss something or is this just a general sorry for the maps some people hate?
Yeah, it's not entirely your fault, i also blame the admins that put rainbowroad in their rotation.
It's been worse, don't worry, we still like you.
What are you sorry for? Your maps are still awesome and you are a pretty awesome person for a Texan
Darling, I hate you for leaving empires alone for so long
When you srs'd about your maps, they were absolutely phenomenal. Don't worry about the off-hand shit. It was fun, until it was abused.
While rainbowroad is in my opinion one of the main reasons empires is as dead as it is. I don't hold it against you (too much).
It's not your fault people are too retarded to know they have a good thing and just throw it away by playing the same god awful map day in and day out. It really illustrated a point to me which I'm going to keep in mind for the rest of my game dev career;
Just because the players want something doesn't mean it's the right thing to give them. The loudest voice is not the majority's wishes, and what might seem harmless at first can be arsenic in disguise.
admins forced people to play his maps seriously. all blame goes to them
Rainbowroad taught me more about players, even if it was damaging. I'm glad of the lessons I learnt from it. It was genuinely really useful.
Rainbowroad is fucking amazing. Winning as BE was a challenge that only the best of the best could possibly take on.
For his sake i really do hope now he was talking about his maps :D
