    All you need is a source based game afaik. Apparently, there are some as little as $5. You will need to dl steam though.

    Specifically, you need a game that includes the Source SDK (i.e. the actual source game engine and related files). The cheapest game I've found that includes the Source SDK is HL2: Deathmatch for $4.99.

    Also, Steam is free and available here. Its pretty much how VALVe distributes most of its games and updates.

    This mod uses files from a game which you have to buy to play, hence, you can't play this mod for free.

    Tbh if you haven't played any of the HL games and can't be bothered to buy the cheapest one for £5 to play a mod which has taken years and years of development...

    It is not that i cant afford 5 dolalrs for one it is just i have no way of buyign it over internet.

    You can buy any of VALVe's source engine games in retail outlets, unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

    yes, walmart would be sufficient. Are you aware of how most games are bought by consumers?

    But anyway

    This kid can give you a copy of Episode one, which is all you would need.

    This doesn't excuse the fact that you're not willing to purchase hl2, a really awesome game.

    I just have never seen it in a store which is why i was asking. I have heard of it online but nevr seen it in wal mart or target ect.
