I've played only for few hours and I like it quite a bit. Allowing bigger cities would be nice but Sim City always was about making low density buildings develop into high density ones.
Zero Punctuation kind of stopped being funny after the first year. I don't know why, but the novelty just sort of wore off and it wasn't that funny any more.

Don't know, I would not bother until like an ultimate edition or GOTY edition comes out. Because it will be dlc hell and its better to get it all at once than go through the bullshit process of doing it as you go along with patching and all the annoying crap.
