    As the title suggests, where would you want the Shoutbox?
    The top of the forum, or the bottom?

    I kinda like it at the top so I don't have to scroll around the forums to see what people typed. Then again I really only use the new posts button which is also at the top so really it's just a convenient thing for me.

    Edit: Holy moly, we can change our vote?

    if thats possible it would be a great compromise. it should default to the shoutbox at the bottom though. its just more professional - its a forum, not a chat.
    but seems like democracy once again shows that a majority fails to see beyond their own needs anyway.

    On the top IMO it definitely takes the spotlight away from the actual forums, it'd be more appropriate below maybe switched with the "recent posts" box. I like how it displays a message when someone makes a new thread, it'd be cool if it did that for posts too, except maybe for the offtopic forum. If it's going to be a permanent part of the empires forums it should have a longer history or possibly an archive.

    I made the posts save a lot longer now.
    Shoutbox now shows thread replies.
    Shoutbox Navigation Button removed.

    when reporting a post and using the dark theme the text is black and you cant see what you are typing, I had to highlight my text to see it.

    ugh sorry wrong thread :(
