Well, I've got a pretty good city up now, and am looking at building my first SPESS rawkit. I'm Natta on the comms, btw.
I've got three cities on my homeworld, one of which was just built to make use of 8 oil wells, another is my main space production, and then my capitol, I also have a full moon base built, providing eludium and lumenite. I also have a full space ship, just can't figure out how to make it buy things for cargo and take off.
Well, I got my empire going, have an entire system colonized, and about 8 active people in my empire and we're gathering numbers(slowly). Life is good. Our homeworld also is abundant in oil. We have around 30 wells(not including levels) :>
Sweet, I have my own, I'm working on getting tech level up right now, I also need to colonize the rest of my solar system, its the Grand Empire of Hygrom. Also, I would be interested in being part of it.
Read the manual http://www.shoresofhazeron.com/manualf.html Also I suggest joining a pre-existing empire or getting a few people to play with you because its far more entertaining with more people in your empire. Manual is long so don't read the entire thing before playing simply consult it when you need to know how to do something.
I tried playing, takes 5 tries to connect,everything takes long, shitty background looks bad and makes stuff hard to read, plenty of crashing, and apparently I can't see any of the models.

The game engine doesn't like the ati cards for some reason and the devs said they would fix this within the next week I think... Update the card and try it again. Also you may want to join a larger empire first. Your welcome to join the BSID empire ask me and I will PM you with the info and have our emperor open the empire.
I'd recommend creating a subsidized ship rather than buying one, the subsidized ones may not respawn, but they wont require you to mine a buncha stuff. Easiest way to make money: Enviro Suit + Helmet or better required. Moon Base recommended. Three empty crates in inventory required (otherwise it's slow). Find a source of eludium, any'll do. Mine three crates of eludium (lumenite takes up 4 slots and isn't worth a lot considering this) Being on a moon, you should have no problem jumping to the nearest broker. Sell Eludium ??? Profit! 20k-40k range depending on quality and demand. If they don't want it, order warehouses to be built to make space for it.
Everything. Some were higher than others, but I had 12 Universities cranking out research, each at 8 lvls. Overnight. Twas awesome.
You BSID guys are really busy in this, aren't ya? You're even a couple of spots below my friend's empire (I'm currently a PM in it). But way ahead in regards of tech research.
