Updates 8-14-09: Removed duplicate code from KAC Since Valve doesn't fix the large collection of exploits that can be used to either lag or crash a server, plugins are required to ensure your servers are protected. At this time, the recommend plugins are: Custom version of KAC (attached to this post) Install to empires/addons/sourcemod/plugins Note: This blocks the aircraft factory command DAF V3 Download from here and install to empires/addons Download the dosattackfixer.zip from this post, extract the VDF, and install to empires/addons You can download the source for the custom version of KAC from SVN (ro uname/pw: anonsvn/anonsvn). Not running the above plugins will leave your server open to attackers.
You can get a copy of the source from SVN (ro uname/pw: anonsvn/anonsvn). It blocks some commands that the regular version of KAC doesn't, and some of the anti-cheat checks are turned off since there were reports of false positives. Just wondering, is Custom Factor getting back into Empires?
CustomFactor has always had an Empires server, it has been fairly dormant recently, however one of our Admins Merc has recently made an AU Revival group and it seems to be getting some good success.
I thought it went away for some reason. Anyhow, there are two bugs in KAC at the moment; both have been fixed in the latest SVN revision and need to be tested.
