An exploit was discovered that allowed a client to crash an Empires server. This is the fix. Download and extract it to your server's "/empires/bin" directory where it will overwrite the current "server.dll". A linux fix will be available soon. Download Empires 2.1 Server Hotfix (Windows)
Thanks Krenzo. Did you just make it so that clients can't use this command from their consoles anymore or something? (Even I most likely won't get an answer for that. :p ) And Jordan, about that your "war thing." This game doesn't exist to cause real life war. This game exist because people want to play something interesting and enjoy it. You are mixing real life's war and game's war together.

If it´s THE Jordan who was suspected for crashing the servers, leave him. We have the problem fixed now, so there´s no need for a ban.
And the command was? PLZ TELL US!!! EVE online tells people how the expoits were done after its been fixed.

This is a windows fix, so Linux is still susceptible. Therefore don't expect them to tell you how he crashed the servers.
If someone has been crashing public servers, why is mine still running? :confused: Well whatever... I'd better update it.
