Rail boost is good, prevents them from being useless on absorbant, I might even say slow it a bit and boost damage a bit more. CV sounds good too.
You've heard some of my input as I was on when the changes were tested... I don't know where the rail guns stand now, but if they are still more powerful with more ammo, I think that's bad - they already have a fast refire rate...so I think giving them more power is very bad. It makes the BE tanks very overpowered (you in a BE vs my heavily armored NF heavy showed this...I had to use nukes to win.)
Currently, the rails are useless anyways, the're just big, heat producing, high rate-of-fire Standard Cannons with low drop. The fact alone that their ammo supply is exausted after like 20 seconds firing. :p
Railguns are supposed to be the ultimate weapon; otherwise they wouldnt cost 3 slots :p So I think making the biggest weapon in the game more powerfull is a good idea...
this is why i think there should be an ultra cannon, another 3 slotter but this time one that is just a bigger explosion than HE...
Long reload time, big power? You mean the nuke? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_(projectile)#Types The HEAT shells sound nice.
heat shells... that would be a nice addition. but what i meant was just an HE cannon that fired a bit slower, with more heat. and more damage. i made a thread about it but no-one liked the idea.
Getting off topic here... I want feed back on the server, not new ideas for the game. That belongs in the suggestions area. So far Alot of people have given me positive feed back. My next change's will be to the AFV to make it more agile.
Sounds good Whale :D; but is there any way to add a larger heat capacity to it first/ heat sink rate? As the NF VS BE tank suggested that was the first idea before anything drastic was taken? Since the advantage that the light is supposed to have is its increased speed and agility...
Shin I know about the NF ability, that is why I plan to make the BE AFV wight alot more than the LT. Also adjust the turret angle; I think I found the file I can edit the turret angle. Also on the AFV to make it better, there is a flaw with the armor. So what I and going to do is look for a place to change the X and Y of the armor plateing. My hunch is the armor is one or two numbers off form what it should be at. Like x30 instead of x60 or x50 instead of x60. As a side note some day I would like to see armor plating on the top of the tank, since in real life the top of the tank is the weakest point on the tank.
oh, yeah i was thinking about these. even if it was only one or two sheets, this would be really good- especially for heavy tanks.
