So. Scouts, everything thinks that there useless, except for the sniping capabilities I see. First off, personally I think that scouts should have nothing to do with sniping and, some type of class specializing in sniping be added. With maybe a choice of an Anti infantry sniper rifle, and an anti material/vehicle sniper rifle. So, scouts would be scouting and not just camping up on a hill invis taking your head off every two seconds. Now, a whole sniping class seperate from scout would be great and make the game a bit different but, this is about the scout. Personally, Im thinking that either they should get a different smg that would be a mix between the regular two, and come equipped with a reflex sight for some basic zooming, in laymens terms, iron sights but easier on the eyes. Or, some type of semi automatic rifle, similar to the NFs heavy AR but, if a sniper class was added, would be useless. Also, Ive read over some of the sabotage/hacking suggestions and I personally think that, some type of electronic device, similar to the Enginier device, should be put into a gunish form, and could be used to just zap turrents and things to make them useless for a limited amount of time. Basicly e.m.p. And, to counter balance this so, you dont have a billion scouts running around, the commander could make some anti e.m.p. research that would either counter the effects completely, or cut in half the ammount of time the facility or whatever would be down. Also, I was thinking instead of the sabotauring going on, What about going into the building itself and doing something. Like going into a barracks and being able to go to a terminal within it, and shut off the ability to spawn, and would have to be turned back on by an enemy engineer. Then, being able to do the same with radar and vehicle buildings but, maybe with the vehicle buildings, being able to build an enemy jeep for a get away. Standard/lowish armor or engine of course. Becouse lets face it, some scout running in your main while your not looking, building a heavy tank fully upgraded out of your recources and killing your comm. would make the game unfair. After that, the only thing I could think of would be adding a C4 type of a weapon that could either be used to replace your grenade slot or binocs which, would be able to stick to anything. Also, two varients of this could be used. One, an anti infantry where, it would be set up on a wall, and when blown up, shrapenal would fly out, inflicting death. And, an explosive version that would act more like a satchel charge, being made to do damage to the spot its latched onto, blasting through a wall or, doing a good deal of damage to a building or vehicle. Really, thats all i think could be done to give the scout better ability.
I recommend you split your text up into smaller paragraphs, or many people will not read everything you write.
Might I recommend the suggestions format shown in this thread? Its simply much easier to get your idea across if you organize it this way.

its quite odd that sniper scouts that are 99% newbs/noobs just keep coming and spamming about the scout/rifle/whatever and knowing the game more than a scout lover should. Also i didnt say that everyone thats new to forums and talking about scouts are guys who make another forum accounts just to say that, i meant some. And making accounts just to say how a certain change is stupid (in their opinion, or they just want to keep it because only they like it) is quite common on games/mods/browser games (especially Ogame) forums .
-But blizzerd, your failure lies in reading the rest of the thread anyway. This sounds like another complicated scout buff. The idea of research to block/weaken the new feature sounds like a headache. Plus, I dont know how people think the anti-vehicles SNIPING is a good thing. "Oh guys I cant move my railheavy-deathtractor up because I keep getting camped by a scout, sry".
Lawl. First post in this forum and I get accused of being someone else here. How lovely. But, Im a new member. Ive played empires a bit, still playing on the training server, you may know me as Deltah Casuss, one of these nights, me and Notorious fought on escort and kept owning eachother. Then, for a few days i played some AoC, and found out that, they did nothing to fix the Knight animations and hailbird animations, and the lag, so I got angry and decided to make this my new game, and im in the process of developing a clan. But, I just joined this forums, and Im just a new person. Who, plays as riflemen, and would love to play scout but, the scout class isnt suited very much for scouting. Personally, all i want is an SMG with a red dot sight or a scope, and maybe a few other additions. And how does "September 2008" make this a fake account?
hide, enhanced senses, binoculars with gaining points if an ally kills a marked target; throw in silencer and sabotage and what else do they need to be effective scouts?
The other 10% being me, me also being in the top 5, with the other 9 scouts camping out the centre of duststorm with 4 points apiece
