Edit by wealthysoup: Posts 1-5 are from another thread. Post 6 is the start of this new thread, so start from there. Teefs original post: What kind of sad mother fucker do you have to be to buy a trucking simulator and have your friends play with you.
Last I checked no Eastern Europe was included, but I may be wrong since it's been months. It's simply more difficult to simulate since the roads are ABSOLUTE UTTER SHIT.
Since you assholes hijacked my other thread it looks like I'll have to make this to tidy it up So lets hear it, whats your most embarrassing/saddest game? I'm gonna say Euro Truck Simulator 2 since it lets me tidy the other thread up So haters. Lets hear what you guys have
any mmo I tried for some time, I usually quit when I realize how much "work" I have to put into the game to get certain stuff. If you think about how many actually have high tier gear its kinda sad
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but here's a list of games that ultimately look pretty sad in my inventory. Star Trek Online (I'm a huge trekkie, was so excited and actually paid for it. Bleh) Star Trek D-A-C (Same thing, except it was $5 and I was super bored and knew what I was getting into) Shattered Horizon - zero gravity space shooter with a player base of ~5 people who never play at the same time and confusing controls Alternatively, it is sad that none of my friends ever got me Train Simulator or that weird unicorn breeding game, despite the fact that we were jokingly gifting them to one another. I just realized I never got one.
Lol I did consider saying that myself but was getting worried about the backlash haha. Trickster--go on, tell us both
I don't buy too many "sad" games. I'd say Fieldrunners is the sad game in my steam library, I got it out of a humble bundle though, but fuck it's just tower defense I don't understand how indie developers think they can put a price on tower defense games. Nothing sadder than mediocrity. And in the emotional sense, not the original Half-Life exactly but Opposing Force. Feels sad man.
Space Hack.. I bought that game a few months ago and thought it could be a nice time waste once in a while... its a complete waste of everything. AI War was something I thought would be cool but, its WAY too much micromanagement for me
This sounds more like a disappointment thread than a "why would you have that, that's just sad" thread. I don't think I have anything that would give me strange looks to be honest. Wait no, I have world of warcraft. yeah that's kinda sad, though I do think it would have been a lot more interesting if joined before all the dungeon finder stuff. I do like exploring giant worlds. For disappointment I have to go with star wars: knights of the old republic. I was expecting oblivion in space and I got this weird turn based semi-realtime fighting with invisible dice rolls that was simply boring. That and it took for ever the game to start.
