right now, if you run forward holding an rpg, the crosshair becomes wider, but the rocket will still hit dead on, i propose that the precision of the rocket fired be made dependent on the crosshair when you fire it, so people will have to stop for a split second to snipe with rpgs
I say when you run, the RPG wobbles. Make it so that if you fire the RPG while running the missile wobbles it's entire flight-time. Making it harder to aim with, but not to the point of where it'll just start ricochetting off of everything.
lol you and your suggestions.. does this really change how the game is played? you basically want grens to be sitting ducks when they are frantically trying to kill the swarms of LTs with the 3 missles they get... heres a suggestion... the shoe laces on the BE guys should be black instead of a light shade of grey..
lol yeah.. i guess i should just not state my opinion and let the topic die avair.. do what i do.. nexttime you have a suggestion talk to people in game about it and see if they think its worthy of a thread.. somtimes its hard to think of the pros and cons by yourself
except for sniping, at which they excel I'm with ark on this one. Rockets suck, they're only good for one thing, and this doesn't address that issue.
Rockets are harder to use than mortar in my opinion. not that learning mortar ranges isn't difficult but getting good at guiding the rocket (so you can have it fly out to the far side of a vehicle and hit the far side that you can't even see), fire it so it hits without guidence as well as getting good at the split second judgement you have to make every shot of whether to predict or to guide... I havn't seen many people do it that well.
lol.. nah i have alot of ideas for changes that i think would actually benifit or make game play better(i just dont make threads for each one).. and aviar's suggestions are just spam most of the time.. you already have to stand still to guide the missles.. you should be able to run and shoot them unguided
If I need to snipe; I would usualy stop and wait for the crosshair to become small again; because if I dont aim; I miss the target by a hairwidth...
rockets rock the casbah.. once yo ulearn how to control and aim the damn things I can snipe tanks around corners or hit shit on the other side of buildings by going over top and then crashing down from above... Like most things it's easier to blame the arrow than the archer
