Research is shown in the top-left corner under the commander

    Or beside the commander icon. Point being, the current research is shown in white text in the top-left corner.

    "But we hear "Research is now complete" / chatbox text!"
    Chatbox is usually a spamfest, and this doesn't tell you HOW_LONG until research is done.

    "But we have XXXXX SM_PLUGINS!"
    Still saves time, and not every server might have it (was it made official :confused:).

    Can this be done in 2.26, or does this have to wait for GUI update?

    apparently that counts as a tag and is not counted as characters in the message.
