Rereleasing old 2.12 Maps

For now, decompiling. I'm hoping some of the original authors will be willing to provide the original VMFs (because decompiles suck).

 

glycenpass was like hitting your head on a brick wall til it bleeds.

 

Glycenpass was amazing in 2.12 because the scout rifle actually did damage.

 

Thank you ScardyBob. I miss so many of the pre-OB maps, and it's really a shame how few maps get played now days, this will be awesome.

 

This could be said for half a dozen current Empires maps (e.g. money). I'm not going to discriminate between maps, just release all of them so server owners can choose from all of the Empires' maps available.

Scouts weren't the problem in glycenpass, the fact that glycenpass HAS NO GAMEPLAY was the problem with glycenpass.

The only 2.12 map that I really miss was plunge, but I figured if I was going to rerelease it, I should do all the other maps too.

emp_nfescort crashed. Idk if Omneh is working on redoing it for OB. But me and Simon exploited after like 2 minutes and blew up enemy VF. Would have been 45 minutes of hell if I hadn't tried to evade server cheat protection using admin and spawn a VF, then crashing it.

 

Im not 100% sure but it crashes cause omneh uploaded the OLD VERSION not the new one...

 

I thought it crashed cause you tried to admin-spawn a NF VF rather than the map being unstable.

 

TheTrenches was remade by shandy or recompiled i have a orangebox version of encore and batos around somewhere, i'll look, compile, and upload sometime in the next 2 weeks

 

That castle map was pretty sweet
