This is the thread for discussion and idea finding for the new Northern Faction Explosive Sticky Grenade/Bomb. Keep this civil and stick with the current style of Empires. Anyone working on this or wanting to pitch constructive ideas may post here.

You sure about keeping the warning note with it?
It might be nice detail but it would stick out so much with no animation.
Also note that this is a SAFE weapon. The one you sourced, is an actual sticky grenade, the metal cap comes off exposing the adhesive, hence the warning so the people would not get the darwin award without doing any damage (it would just bounce of the vehicle)
The hand held model might be just that, it makes some sense and i doubt people would be bothered too much with the lack of decapping animation, but the game model absolutely not.

Who said I wouldn't do an animation and wouldn't add a jiggle bone to the tag?

Actually found a vid on how it is operated:

I am currently debating with myself, if I should use the removal of the casing as pull out animation. Would just be illogical, if you put the grenade away again.

    Here's the lowpoly:

I already modeled the inside. I just didn't bother to make an extra screenshot of a simple sphere.

    Next up: UV-Unwrapping

    Looking good.

One thing though, Is there a way to have the model change its vector (pardon if the wording is incorrect), like the mortar does? It doesnt matter much for normal nades, but youd think those things should always be facing towards the target with the head.
