regen armor

i was NF on cyclopian and had a LT with 2 plates of regen all around. all my armor was gone except for to plates on my left (?) side, i retreat to let regen do its thing. right and back armor comes back but both front plates stay down and hull never goes above yellow.

 

IIRC, regen does NOT regenerate hull.

 

Regen armor doesn't repair hull. It only repairs armor side when there was some armor health left.

 

Thought so. Many people misunderstand what regeneration means. For something to regenerate, it must have a base, something to regenerate from, something to mimic. It cant do that when you have NO armour left Regenerating 0hp, = well, 0hp.

 

as far as i know, if the plates on a side have been totally destroyed, then there isn't anything to repair, it kinda makes sense one you think about it.

 

yes, because most tooltips dont give much information. this should be improved.

 

If you know what regeneration is, then this is plain obvious. If you don't, then get someone to explain it

That most noobs understand. What you instead could do is just include a text to the armour saying:

Only regens armour, not hull.

 

i could have sworn regen heals hull. was it changed or am i retarded?
