I just recently have felt the urge to play CnC Red Alert 2 again, and I found an online client (http://cncnet.org/red-alert-2) that allows for good multiplayer even though gamespy is gone for good. I haven't been able to try it out yet (not home; public computers) but once I get home this coming weekend I will absolutely go for it. Anybody else want to play Red Alert 2 with me? There's supposedly co-op campaigns and stuff too. Also, Red Alert 2 discussion in general.
Mmm, next weekend is wurm weekend. I'm up for it any time after though, red alert is probably my favorite rts, even better then empires. I am terrible though, I don't if you are brutal ai type of guys or not. Age of empires has been helping my micro, or is that macro?, skills a bit, but I'd probably lose to brutal ai.
I'm not looking for competitive play, just messing around really. I almost have to relearn the game, last time I played was 8 years ago.
Once I get situated back home I'll put more information up about when and what I'll be playing in Red Alert 2. Until then, what's your favorite red alert 2 unit? Mine is the tesla trooper. Not too pricey, and effective against anything but planes.
I bought the command and conquer complete pack on origin, and I've played a little red alert 2 to get back into it. I'll try the online client soon. Obtaining a legal copy of red alert 2 is difficult aside from origin.
Ahh red alert 2,i knew of this a long time ago actually. I probably am not playing anyway. EDIT:My favorite unit are the yuris. They are so OP. They even have a buy 1 get 2 policy if you get cloning vats.
