Recycling walls

    Can anyone explain why engineers are not capable of recycling ALL walls that they have created/built with their calculator? You know, like from a distance so they don't have to walk over half of the map to get to them to do it. A simple hotkey/command in console would fix that since the calculator tool menu doesn't have a "Walls" section. What do you guys think?

    I have a feeling that people are going to say that it makes engineer walls OP though... and also it is probably to hard to code.

    Since it has to do with walls, I don't think it can happen.

    just change class in a rax? or armory? too much coding I thnk

    Do walls disappear when you change class? I know ammo boxes don't.

    Walls disappear when you change class. The problem is that so do turrets and cameras. If i have 2 level 3's up fuckin' shit up, I'd much rather not have to rebuild them simply because I wanted to get rid of the walls.

    Would like.
    Because it's annoying to ask the commander for a recycling of the own "old" walls. Walking back takes time, as changing class does.

    How about a "recycle all your walls except the ones near you". That I would find more useful.

    I don't think anything more complex could be possible, but a simple recycle all walls button would be nice. I do recall once knocking this idea back for some reason, but that was probably because it was an Ounin thread and he dressed it up stupidly. But yeah, it would be useful to have.

    So I guess coding is the problem, right?

    I really would like to see the commander's code for recycling specific walls.
    Just replace the way of selecting walls with the engineer's built walls... but that's probably waaay too fucking complex since I remember wall code being french as hell.
